CYCLING BIOMECANICAL EVALUATION

In our center we carry out a cycling biomechanical evaluation of the cyclist in a global way, understanding that it is a process in which many factors are involved. In addition to needing to review the progression of the posture on the bicycle during the season, since muscular changes are established that directly affect our pedaling dynamics. At SyncroLab we achieve your optimal position on your bicycle.

We have the latest technology available on the market, for the adjustment and analysis of your pedaling. Syncrolab is equipped with the STT Systems 3D camera system, we achieve real-time image recording.

We observe and verify in the most individualized and precise way possible your position on the bicycle, attending to individual needs and focusing on your morphological characteristics in conjunction with the geometry of the bicycle. In addition to adjusting the angles of your body, we have a pressure sensor system for your saddle (eWiva), to find the most efficient position possible while not neglecting comfort.

An individualized and millimeter adjustment of your bicycle is possible, and will help you to increase your performance. Our experience with professional athletes (Astana, Katusha, Rusvelo) means that our methodology relies on scientific rigor and details to achieve individualized optimization.

We can also offer you an advanced optimization with our CoRehab system, unique in our country, which allows us to determine possible dismetries, and evaluate your qualities such as balance, strength or speed. Thanks to inertial sensors and a test battery we can generate reports to improve and monitor your physical condition.

Increase your comfort and your performance while minimizing the risk of injury, regardless your specialty: road, mountain or triathlon.

What is the difference between an optimization and a bike fit?

Biomechanics applied to cycling is a science that advances rapidly, due to the rapid evolution of materials and measurement systems.

We understand optimization as a biomechanical process where more than the angles and measurements of the bicycle are taken into account, seeing how to adapt our anthropometry to the bicycle.

The main difference between the two is that, in the first case, not only the measurements of the bicycle are taken into account, but also the cyclist and their context.

In our blog, we have an article with the details of the difference between an optimization or cycling biomechanical evaluation of a bike fit.
